Exploring the possibilities of precast concrete with Enbridge
We were recently delighted to welcome Enbridge for a tour of our facilities in Ottawa. Our team was excited to welcome back the Enbridge team in person after primarily communicating with them via phone and email for the last few years. Before their scheduled day of activities, we enjoyed getting to know one another and exchanging experiences over a delicious dinner at Chop Steakhouse.
We started our first tour at M CON Products the following day. Although they are not M CON Products customers, we wanted to invite them to this facility to demonstrate our capabilities as The Precast Group and how we go above and beyond the Modular Buildings we provide. In order to offer creative solutions for their projects, we wanted to demonstrate how they might collaborate with Central Precast and our sister companies.
We then travelled to Central Precast to show Enbridge our production process up close. They got to observe firsthand how we construct our modular structures and watch as a Thermowall sandwich panel was poured, which helped them better comprehend the insulation options we provide. After the visits, we reassembled at Villa Marconi Centre for a formal presentation on our company and its history. During this open discussion, we also discussed upcoming initiatives and methods to strengthen our partnership.
To finish off the two-day tour, we all enjoyed a night of fun and relaxation at a Senators vs Islanders game. We had a great time over refreshments and good food and loved spending time with our customers, enhancing their vision for projects, and showing them the countless options we can offer on their construction sites.
Overall, our time with Enbridge was a tremendous success, and we look forward to continuing our positive partnership long into the future.
