ABOUT THE PROJECT
The modular building we built for the City of Hamilton has a unique element. From the outside it looks like a regular precast building, however, the inside serves as a receiving station for wastewater. So, as well as engineering and manufacturing a building with R10 insulated wall panels, we designed solid precast roof slabs which could support additional loads as the building is equipped with a monorail system that is attached to the underside of the precast roof slabs. In just one week we completed production, and two days later the City had their modular building fully installed, with a simulated split face block pattern, along with a simulated brick pattern with multi-colour stain.
