Responsibilities

  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product.

Overview

Responsibilities

  • Create/build custom forms/frames from start to finish to specifications, maintaining the high standards of workmanship
  • Work with hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to established safe working procedures and wearing the proper safety equipment always.
  • Assist in the resolution of design issues, change requests, material defects, and other concerns.
  • Inspect equipment, ensure maintenance, and emphasize safety in all operations.

Overview

The primary responsibilities of this position are primarily working with concrete and reinforced steel for precast concrete structures. This is a demanding job that requires good physical condition and the ability to maintain a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collecting materials, assembling cages, setting up casts prior to pouring concrete
  • Pouring concrete
  • Raking, tamping, and leveling poured concrete

SKILLED LABOURER

Overview

Skilled Labourers are responsible for aiding in all areas of the precast plant. They are
responsible for collecting materials, assembling cages, setting up forms and concrete
placing. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the
plant. A high level of safety practices must be used at all times.

 

Responsibilities

  • Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
  • Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
  • Assist machine operators, Crane Operators and other labourers as required
  • Bending of reinforcing steel for precast concrete structures
  • May assist with minor repairs and maintenance
  • Remove rubble and other debris
  • Clean and remove excess debris from molds and other equipment

Welders are primarily responsible for building and welding the wire forms that are used for concrete production. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the plant. A high level of safety practices must be used at all times.

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic, full automated welding equipment
  • Operate flame-cutting equipment

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk with 10 or more years of hands-on accounting experience to support day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently while supporting month-end and year-end processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team. This role is expected to start in July 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable

Overview:

The Corporate Controller, reporting to the CFO, is a senior finance role responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial reporting, and control activities across multiple manufacturing entities. While the initial mandate is firmly rooted in controllership, this position is intended for a high‑performing CPA, CA with the capability and ambition to assume expanded responsibilities as experience, judgment, and business understanding deepen.

 

Progression beyond the Controller role will be based on demonstrated performance, leadership maturity, and business readiness, rather than a fixed timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Controllership (Initial Focus)

  • Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes across multiple legal entities
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with ASPE
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial reporting and management information
  • Research, document, and support technical accounting positions
  • Serve as primary liaison with external accountants on year‑end engagements

 

 

Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

  • Oversee costing, inventory valuation, and cost of goods sold

Progressive Leadership Development

Previous Experience:

Compensation Offer:

  • Salary $50,000 – $65,000, based on experience
  • Permanent, full-time, Monday-Friday. During the summer season, the schedule is approximately 44 hours per week, with the possibility of occasional Saturday shifts. In the winter season, the schedule adjusts to 5 hours per week.

Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Central Precast was established in 1956 and began manufacturing precast concrete products for the general construction industry. Overview:

Forklift drivers are responsible for aiding in all areas of the precast plant. They are responsible for loading, unloading and moving materials throughout the yard and plant. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products
  • Load, unload and move products and materials by hand, or with basic material handling equipment
  • Organize and maintain inventory throughout the plant and yard
  • Sort, crate and stack goods
  • Wrap goods
  • Weigh materials and goods
  • Store cargo and materials
  • Make labels and attach to goods

 

Qualifications

Education Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Forklift Operator Certification

 

Experience

  • 2+ yrs experience with 15,000lbs+
  • Self-starter, with excellent work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Prior experience in a  precast concrete plant would be a strong asset
