ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client needed a combination of two-storey vertical panels, as well as spandrel (horizontal) panels between the windows for a new 13-storey apartment building in Kingston. We designed and engineered all the precast architectural panels (cladding) off site to avoid pouring concrete panels on site and waiting for them to cure. Once our client was ready for the cladding, we delivered and installed the buff-coloured panels, which had a light sandblast finish. For apartment block 1 we installed a total of 541 precast panels in Fall/Winter 2017/18. We returned in Summer/Fall of 2019 to install 566 panels for the second block. Our client was delighted with the matching, high-quality finishes for their new buildings.
