ABOUT THE PROJECT
The client wanted insulated cladding which was durable and virtually maintenance-free. They also needed the panels to span vertically from 32 to 37Ft. Knowing Central Precast’s reputation for high-quality, durable precast panels, Megha Holdings approached us to provide a solution. In order to meet our client’s requirements, we manufactured insulated panels using our ThermowallⓇ technology. This allowed us to achieve the required R-Value, as well as the height. We minimized the thickness to a total of only 11” (3” face concrete, 4” insulation, 4” back face concrete) and used reinforced pre-stressing cables to span the vertical height. After approximately seven weeks, we delivered the panels in a light sandblast finish and installed them in just 12 days. The result was tall, insulated, durable cladding in a finish which matched the building.
