ABOUT THE PROJECT
After successfully winning the bid to supply benches for the Brooke Claxton building, we got to work on the engineering and fabrication. Because the location is a historical landmark, the customer requested that the current benches be replaced with new precast while maintaining the same layout and appearance. Our precast benches, made from our white concrete mix and finished with a medium sandblast, gave the client the same look, textures, and appearance as the existing benches, matching the facades that run along the exterior and throughout the inside of the building. The benches were installed in less than 7 days after a 7-week production period, blending in with the existing configuration and rectangular massing of the building.
